How we back up our advice
Our tools use our own calculation engine, based on fixed tax rules and your numbers. The calculations are not done by AI. AI only helps to explain the results in plain language.
The advice report shows which calculations, assumptions and sources were used. So you can check the result yourself or discuss it with your own adviser.
Commercial partners have no influence on the calculations. Even if the result is that you are better off changing nothing, we show you that.

Why are the StartAndGrow tools free?
StartAndGrow helps business owners make better-founded financial choices. The tools are free because we also work with business service providers, including 100digital. Want help after your advice report? Then you decide yourself whether to contact a service provider. That is never required and has no influence on the result of your calculation.
How reliable are the calculations and advice?
Our tools use fixed calculation rules based on tax law and the details you fill in yourself. The results are not influenced by commercial partners. Your advice report shows the assumptions, calculations and sources used. So you can see how the result came about and discuss it with your own adviser.
Does StartAndGrow use AI for the calculations?
No. Our own calculation engine does the calculations, based on fixed tax rules and the details you fill in. AI only explains the calculated results in plain language. The amounts in that explanation are checked automatically against the calculation.
What happens to my details?
You see your result straight away. For the full report we ask for your email address, so we can send you the link. A partner only sees aggregated figures. Your details only go to a service provider if you ask for that yourself. For tips and offers we ask for separate consent. Read the privacy statement.
